2007-05-23 10:10:00 | I would have been happy to look at it myself except that I don't own or use MS Publisher. | winmacguy (3367) | |
2007-05-24 00:01:00 | Hi all, It would appear that I am not going to get far with this query- some people think that I cannot open an incoming file- I can---I just cannot create some parts of Publisher (not all) such as a new business card- it just comes up "cannot complete"- yet I can open my own existing card. But it would be a waste of F1 recources to flog a dead horse:lol: Thanks anyway effie c

2007-05-24 00:37:00 | That almost sounds like an error concerning the code involved with creating a new doc within Publisher. My suggestion would be to contact Microsoft Help directly and see if they can shed any light on it. I have never had an error like that in Quark or InDesign.

It is not a corrupt document. |

2007-05-24 06:55:00 | Surely effie, you have noticed that dead horses are PressF1's favourite flogging targets . "Why is Macintoish OS X so bad compared to Windows?" ,"Why is Windows so bad compared to OS X?", "Why is Linux better than Windows?", Why is Windows better than Linux?" , "Why do people bully poor little Mr Gates?" Out come the cats of nine tails and the knouts; sleeves are rolled up . "Why is broadband not free and infinite?" , or "Telecom" and the riot squad hide in the deepest bunkers . ;) :p :groan: Sorry we haven't helped . . .

2007-05-24 07:27:00 | :groan: Lets see if we can get non-totally-serious postings recognised as such. What is needed? An emoticon like this, perhaps? : ************************************************** ******* NOTICE: THIS POSTING IS NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. DO NOT THINK IT IS MEANT TO BE INTERPRETED AS CHALLENGING ANY OF YOUR BELIEFS. AT LEAST READ IT ALL, INSTEAD OF REACTING TO THE FIRST FEW WORDS WHICH MIGHT TRIGGER YOUR DEAD HORSE FLOGGING INSTINCTS. ************************************************** *******
