| 552402 | 2007-05-24 04:53:00 | You may also want to consider the GeForce 6200 ( definately NOT the TC model ), although its slow by gaming standards it can be picked up at about $90 and is definately better that the 9250. Also usually beats the 9550 in benchmarks. Toms Hardware rates it roughly equivalent to a Ti4800 or 9600 PRO and a slight step up from the 9550 ( and before you flame me saying BS think about the relative age of these cards - good in their day but outdated now ) Games like UT2004, Doom3, Quake4 will run a playable framerates and still look ok on one of these cards If you only want to play older games, or don't care about AA or AF, and don't mind using 800x600 for some games then you'll be fine |
