552402 2007-05-24 04:53:00 You may also want to consider the GeForce 6200 ( definately NOT the TC model ), although its slow by gaming standards it can be picked up at about $90 and is definately better that the 9250. Also usually beats the 9550 in benchmarks.

Toms Hardware rates it roughly equivalent to a Ti4800 or 9600 PRO and a slight step up from the 9550 ( and before you flame me saying BS think about the relative age of these cards - good in their day but outdated now )

Games like UT2004, Doom3, Quake4 will run a playable framerates and still look ok on one of these cards

If you only want to play older games, or don't care about AA or AF, and don't mind using 800x600 for some games then you'll be fine

552405 2007-05-24 05:15:00 6200 looks pretty decent if you can get the right one. See if you can get a 128bit one. mejobloggs (264)
552406 2007-05-24 05:20:00 Quite a big performance difference between the 64mb/64bit one, and the 128mb/128bit one

Definately make sure you get the 128/128 one

552409 2007-05-24 08:03:00 wikipedia has some comprehensive comparison tables if you want to compare models. Comprehensive = correct? Beats me, but the data is there to peruse.

What games are you looking to play?

Any games that have made it down into the $10 bin at the warehouse that look like they would be enjoyable
Something in the Max Payne, return to castle wolfenstein vein
