| 552198 | 2007-05-27 07:42:00 | Sounds like a controller error, are the drivers for the SATA controller signed by MS? after alot of fiddling around it was the sata controller! The other day i figured in safe mode vista must use its own sata controllers, no problems, but with the nforce nvidia one, it went nuts, so, in conclusion, the sata controller is the culprit. I have posted everything i could on the nvidia site, and theyre recreating the same situation i have etc, so theyre aware of it now as well. can anyone tell me how to restore my sata controllers back to vista x64 ones? |

But getting back into Vista, if u update the drivers, this way is another matter. But I would say normally if the setup for Vista/XP doesnt detect the hdd and the drivers are needed, this is the only way to do it. |
