| 552451 | 2007-05-23 04:45:00 | Our non-profit residential care organisation has reached the stage where we need a robust database to record details of the people we care for along with incidents and other stuff that relate to them as individuals. Our problem is that no one here knows how to assemble a proper Access database. I've had a look at Access myself and while I could set up a couple of tables and their fields in a rough and ready manner, we've decided that the best course of action is to get someone who knows how to do these things properly to work with us to assemble a quality database. We don't want someone just to assemble it then hand it over for us to use. We want someone who can train and oversee us in constructing the database ourselves because then we'll finish up with a database AND a couple of people who know how to make one in the future. We're looking at something like 10 hours perhaps spread over a few weeks during the daytime preferably...and preferably at our workplace. Of course we would pay whatever is appropriate. If this sounds like you or someone you know I'd love to hear from you. Richard EDIT: We're using MS Access 2002 |
