| 552996 | 2007-05-25 06:20:00 | Hi guys. i have a used IBM Thinkpad 600X. I turn it on and it first said Disk Read Error press Control-Alt-Delete to restart. I do this, then it comes up with a funky screen, a floppy disk drive diagram on top, all the Function Keys listed on the bottom. Any ideas how I can get back into my system? Or, what's wrong? Could it be the m/b? I've had problems with other devices on it. Thanks.:badpc: |

See if you can find a DOS boot floppy. That will give you a good idea. Then CHKDSK might show what the hard disk is like. |
