I wish that could happen in the near future, but unfortunately one cannot resort to changing his or her nationality by simply altering their last name! :p

Cheers :)

553522 2007-05-29 06:22:00 I'm not sure if I want to do health, if I decide that I like it I'll go onto medicine; else I'll do a science (Probably Biology) or commerce. Tribomb (5547)

553524 2007-07-25 10:21:00 Hey guys I am also going to uni (live in Auckland, going to Victoria cause Otago is too cold!). I fit into that $2000-$2500 bracket. At this stage I am favoring dell as I can custom build what I want. I know what I want, a laptop with a screen 12.1-14.1 inches but will be able to play games, perhaps not the latest and greatest at full pace though.

If I were to buy tomorrow I would get a laptop from the dell XPS range making sure I have a graphics card and 2gb of ram minimum (possibly a CPU upgrade too). Oh mate and chances are you are going to get new lot of office software, if you want to make a small saving get student edition, and avoid basic as it does not have powerpoint which you may or may not need.

Its such a pitty you can't get XP with a vista upgrade voucher any more. I remember when i was 11/12 and XP was new and the same sort of complaints existed. It turns out though we pretty much all ended up on XP anyway and I imagine it will be the case with vista too.
