You don't have to know how to code if you use a WYSIWYG editor, but it does come in handy if you can't achieve the result you want with a product like Adobe (Macromedia) Dreamweaver or Adobe GoLive (my personal favorite, but a bit pricey if you aren't going to be using it all the time). Both have 30 day trials though if you want to test them out. maccrazy (6741)

Dreamweaver is now Adobe only since they bought Macromedia and Adobe killed GoLive.

If you have a website, you also need a website host and probably a domain name. Some webhosts now offer a free website builder in their control panel, that will allow you to easily create simple webpages in internet explorer based on templates.

553415 2007-05-27 09:08:00 Dreamweaver is now Adobe only since they bought Macromedia and Adobe killed GoLive. While Dreamweaver is now part of CS3 rather than GoLive, the latter is far from dead. The new version is due out later this year as a standalone product. Possibly it might be the last update, I hope not though because I have always like the interface better than Dreamweaver, although I haven't tried the latest version of Dreamweaver. maccrazy (6741)

Thanks for the clarification, I was under the impression that Adobe had killed it since there is not much point carrying two competing apps. They killed Freehand which I am not overly happy about, without carrying any of the multi page document features over to Illustrator:mad:

553418 2007-05-27 10:22:00 I've had a free account with them for about four years and haven't had a single problem. If you had problems perhaps you should've looked elsewhere long ago because obviously something wasn't working for you. Greg (193)
