My BTC writer is unable to write DVDs as it won't even recognise blank DVD-Rs or blank DVD-RW disks. It is however able to write CDs perfectly fine and reads DVDs. I am wondering if anyone can help me solve this problem before I go out and spend money on a new DVD writer. |

And what are you using to burn whatever to blank DVD's??
If you're using XP's built in burning, it doesnt support burning to DVD. Only CD. |

That might answer my question -_-. I'll try something like Nero and see if that works. Thanks. |

Yup, I would say Nero or another program should work. |
