| 553914 | 2007-05-28 08:56:00 | Hi all , my problem goes like this, I walk away from the computer, the screen turns off after 10mins., I return after about an hour , click mouse, the screen lights up, but no internet. The modem (DSL 502T ) is still connected at 4442kbps. It's as if the computer has disconnected from the modem, (ethernet) am I missing a setting?. Does not happen if I return after say 15-20 mins. My power options are set at :- Turn off screen--10mins. Hard drives--Never, Standby--Never. Running XP sp2. I do a restart and all ok again. Thanks for any help. |
