| 554595 | 2007-05-30 19:49:00 | hello my motherboard is destroyed(A8n sli-se asus) and now that i have to buy a new one i don't know if the sockets of my graphics card and the other cards will fit in my new motherboard.I am thinking of buying a M2n sli deluxe asus.My graphics card is ati radeon x1600 series and my processor is Amd athlon 64.could u show me some motherboards that fit in my graphic card and processor etc.. between 50-100 euros? If my motherboard is better the pc will be working better or it's up to the processor and graphic card? Thanks once again :) |

Looking at the specs of the current mobo, it is a Socket 939 with PCI-E and DDR, the one you suggested will NOT work unless you get another CPU cause that is socket AM2, not 939... have you taken it to a PC repair place to see if they can fix it? Why don't you just get the exact same model of mobo that you currently have? that way you will only need to swap the mobos and you should be able to boot straight into Windows and not need to reinstall :2cents: |
