555186 2007-06-01 13:24:00 Just downloaded this from M$ (FREE!!). It came as a ZIP file and I extracted the three files (the EXE, a EULA.txt and the help file - CHM) to their own directory under Program Files.

Running the EXE does not seem to install this app - it just runs the application. There is no shortcut on Start>Progams (I know how I can put a shortcut there - my point is that it doesn't seem to install itself).

Also, the Help file when opened directly or via the app displays "Navigation to the webpage was canceled" under every subject.

Is ther a way to install this app so it can replace Task Manager (via Ctrl+Alt+Del or r-click task bar) and explain why the Help isn't helping?

(XP Pro, SP2)

Cheers

Right click the exe/Send To/Shortcut on desktop

My Help file works but I am using the original version not the one from MS.
