2007-06-05 02:33:00 | sorry this is a mundane problem so hopefully i can get this solved quickly. Im working on a term paper so i NEED spell check, and now my microsoft word 2006 has just decided it doesnt want to anymore, i didnt change any settings or anything, i could type sjadhaskjdhaskjfd into my document and all it would do is capitalize the S at the beginning. What am i to do? Thanks!

2007-06-05 02:50:00 | Man..dooooood! I had the exact same problem and couldn't fix it...so I just switched to OpenOffice and continued. It re-associated all the Office files for itself..and I haven't looked back...not at all. ...but I still want to see what happens here...I wish you well..sorry I have nothing better to add than drop it for something better.

2007-06-05 03:03:00 | mm never mind... when i fully closed word and opened it again it went back to normal... thats a weird bug | bendetto (7615) | |
2007-06-05 03:11:00 | Nah..it is amazing that all twenty-gazillion lines of code can be kept straight and you just got a M$ repair when it realized (Dr. Watson?) that it had a problem and fixed itself. Windows is constantly repairing files and missed code all the time..it was just your turn to see it happen for once.

2007-06-05 05:25:00 | But it still isn't working correctly: It doesn't seem to be capitalizing "i". ;) | Graham L (2) | |
