556007 2007-06-04 10:19:00 ive uhhh kinda destroyed something in my computer, vague much? lol:

i installed new drivers for my ethernet, then my comp froze (Vista Ultimate X64) and now i cant get onto any networks, the service wont run, after looking into it via the services panel, it seems anything that runs off svchost or whatever the file is, wont run, so i can only guess the svchost file is kinda in need of replacement? but, im moving so my vista x64 case and cd's are in god knows what box in my home (im very disorganized when it comes to moving >_<)

so can anyone offer any help please? i dont know what else i can say really... but if you need to know more just ask please :badpc:

556008 2007-06-04 10:30:00 Have you tried rolling back your drivers for Ethernet card? Or even do a system restore? stu161204 (123)

yeah the device is working absolutely fine, i just cant get onto the network because the services required to get on the network wont run, "dependencies and services arent running" something along those lines

i cant do a system restore without the dvd >_< i dont have restore turned on because ive never had this problem before >_>

Go into Services.
What that means is whatever service it needs to run, can't start because a related service is disabled.
Under properties, it will show the related services for that particular service.
