555755 2007-06-08 03:58:00 Yeehaw!!!:D here's hoping!!! in vlc .8.7 maybe??? wratterus (105)
555756 2007-06-08 04:03:00 No problem :)

and VLC is not really a media player worth using full time (for music anyway) IMO... it needs to have a media library to be worthy of this.

And yes, I agree... that is one reason why I use WMP11 as well... he he he, you can even see where I have hit the play key with opera open while posting here... it hits the submit reply button :illogical ... :badpc: causeing premature posting syndrome... :nerd:

Sweet, looks like they will :D

heh "Opened 2 years ago
Last modified 1 year ago" or maybe they already do? or are not going to? Too confusing... :P

555757 2007-06-08 04:10:00 Yeah.

The main reason I like using VLC while gaming and anytime for that matter is that it uses about 1/6th of the system resourses that WMP11 does.

EDIT: and of course it plays pretty much every file type out there lol :D unlike wmp, even with every codec on the market installed it doesn't come near vlc.

555758 2007-06-08 04:13:00 I just use it cause it can open lots of different types of things. I don't use media libraries anyway, I just open the whole folder and play it all.

Mmm I want to get a new pc.

I would say VLC might not even be getting it at all. If that case has been open 2 years, and has still not been started...

555759 2007-06-08 05:10:00 IMO there has not been a decent game released for PC in the past 10 years. Not since the demise of Dos. In fact not since the advent of 3d games

Of course I do not consider simulations to be games.

Funny that, The games i have currently installed are the most jaw-dropping and well designed media experiences I have ever taken part in, and there have been many every year providing stunning visuals, killer gameplay, online interaction (frantic and casual) and other experiences impossible to otherwise do, the only other thing that comes close is major movie productions and due to haveing no interactivity they are a long long way behind.

I fully agree, I believe that games are getting better and better as they go (which they should) Jack, maybe you are stuck in the past gaming? The_End_Of_Reality (334)

And I thought I was stuck in the past, playing and modding Diablo II.

Although, I do still have a Commodore 128 sitting around somewhere (minus the disk drive)...

Although, I do still have a Commodore 128 sitting around somewhere (minus the disk drive)... Well I will agree that there are also very good past games, but I just don't believe that they fully compare to todays games... Heck, I have just started playing System Shock 2 again :D with its new mod
