| 556761 | 2007-06-06 22:48:00 | Hi... I have these Zalman 5.1 headphones. Recently it's giving me a strange problem. Whenever i open a movie, a music file or play my XBox 360, the sound only comes from the left side of the headphones. To make the headphones work properly again, i have use a software called THX Setup which came with my Audigy 2 card. This software tests your speakers. Once i test the speakers, the sound starts coming from the right side of the speakers. What is at fault? The sound card or the headphones? Because when i test my speakers with the THX software, it works properly anytime. Hope someone can help me out here and hopefully offer a solution. P.S- I have tried reinstalling the audio drives, cleaning my sound and headphones. Nothing has worked. |

| 556765 | 2007-06-07 02:49:00 | Easiest way to test if it's the system or the headphones, is to plug it into another system and see if both sides are going. And for an Audigy 2, here is a link for the latest (i believe) drivers. au.creative.com Err... that's long. And I just assumed you are on Win XP. Another thing could be to check that you do have the sound set on 5.1 |

Easiest way to test if it's the system or the headphones, is to plug it into another system and see if both sides are going. Another thing could be to check that you do have the sound set on 5.1 I have the sound set on 5.1 and the THX software does check all the five speakers present in the headphones. I would check on another computer but my other computers are pretty crap and doesn't have a audigy or higher sound card. And since these Zalman headphones have 3 jacks for front, center and rear, i would not be able to fully check the headphones as the 5.1 won't work. |
