557646 2007-06-09 11:59:00 Start, all programs, start up, then right click and delete the ones you don't want. As they are only short cuts, that is what I do. supergran (108)
557647 2007-06-09 12:38:00 welcome to PF1 Sylkness.

I presume that you are using xp, not sure if this works in vista

Goto run typein msconfig go to startup tab.

Make sure you know want the possible outcome of stopping a startup program is. As an example, dont stop zonealarm startup from here as zonealarm hooks into the tcp/ip stack and if you stop it using msconfig chances are you'll need to rebuild tcp/ip stack. Sounds scray dosnt it. (Im talking from experance here)

I will advise you NOT to go anywhere near the process tab.

557650 2007-06-09 15:13:00 Yes, you can switch everything in StartUp on/off as you require them with StartupCPL and StartupMonitor will allow you to see, from now on, what is wanting to install in Startup, you can accept or deny. zqwerty (97)
