557210 2007-06-08 08:04:00 I work in a small non government school and am interested in a simple way of compiling student reports.
The aim is simplicity and convenience for teachers and office staff. Each student report will include content from a number of teachers and the finished report should conform to a standard size. Entering content should be simple and allow for flexible options, possibly using the internet and a private part of the school website.
Any ideas or options I could look at?

557211 2007-06-08 08:25:00 How about making up a standard A4 sheet looking like this:

School Report
Name: Date:

__________________________________________________ _____________
Subject:
Teacher:
Comments:

__________________________________________________ ______________
Subject:
......

......
etc

__________________________________________________ ______________

Then hit the photocopier.

Works very well. Can be used even with the power off.

It's a sensible use of technology.

However I think for a small school it may be worth just making a word doccument in a shared staff folder which, when saved by individual staff would be saved to the central server?

Or if you used the function of word where it allows changes to be made to a doccument and tracks changes.
