558386 2007-06-12 07:29:00 Hi all, i have just installed win 2000 pro and not sure how to find a driver,
When i bring up device manager it all looks ok but the Multimedia has an explanation mark beside it, so how would i go about finding the right driver for it ?, i have the everest program but can't understand it properly yet.
Thanks for any help

558387 2007-06-12 07:48:00 From memory... open Everest, click on computer then summary. Down the list somewhere will be a mention of Sound or Multimedia. That is the device you need a driver for :)
Go to driverguide.com and join. Use their search function and this should lead you to a download. Or you could try the device manufacturers website. Either way should lead to success:thumbs:

Do you mean explanation or exclamation?

Probably a sound card but could be a TV tuner.

Have you installed the motherboard drivers?

Is the mark like this ? or ! this.

Do you have a separate sound card like PCI or is the sound card on board?
