| 558209 | 2007-06-11 11:28:00 | Download Accelerator vs Flashget - which is better? Used to use DAP 5 long time ago but has stopped using it for a few years already. Tried Flashget but don't quite like it. I'm talking about the free versions. Which do you guys prefer and recommend? Cheers |

| 558213 | 2007-06-11 12:12:00 | What didn't you like about Flashget? It is now freeware. No special reasons, actually. Just that it doesn't allow me to specify the download file location every time when I down load. I don't want to download to the fixed location every time. Or is there a way to do this? I would like it to ask me where to store the downloaded file every time, just like Firefox's download. Is it malware free for the Free version? |

| 558214 | 2007-06-11 22:09:00 | I'm using an older version of Flashget and it always prompts me with the download window which has the location in it. I often change it from the default one to something else. Works great. And with the Flashgot plugin for SeaMonkey/Firefox, you can easily queue up a bunch of links from a webpage. |

| 558217 | 2007-06-12 07:59:00 | What didn't you like about Flashget? It is now freeware. I prefer flashget, because I used it for 2 years old. This program really occupies less system resources. |
