| 557829 | 2007-06-10 01:43:00 | Hi I suddenly can't play videos on my computer unless I use divxplayer which plays the videos but with some stuttering. When I start up winamp or windows media player I get an error "windows media player/winamp has encountered and error". I use windows 2000 and installed service pack 4 recently to get itunes to work which may have caused this. |

What are the codecs of the video files that you are trying to play? you might need to reinstall the programs that are causeing the errors... Also, you could try VLC Media Player and see if that will play the files, it can play virtually any video/audio file  |

OR you may need a specialized video player (you may not have the player needed to play that type of file). For a huge set of codecs, hard to find media players, video editors, video and audio tools etc go to www.discmaster.info or www.diskmaster.info. Good Luck. |
