1416098 2016-02-17 00:27:00 This new to me.

I go to uninstall pea zip in control panel, instead of deleting it says it doesn't exist so can't delete.

When I go to unzip something it turns up but doesn't work.

Peazip looks like comes with crap called Opencandy

To remove look here malwaretips.com Probably the first 2 will do the trick , if you have Malwarebytes run this also

1416102 2016-02-17 01:17:00 Can you install windows programs on it? If you can, use ccleaner go to uninstall delete it. Then go to tools/startup context menu. Delete its entries Speedy Gonzales (78)
1416103 2016-02-17 01:18:00 The first 2 Adwcleaner and Junkware Removal Tool will clean up any remnants of Peazip which Malwarebytes may miss Lawrence (2987)

Peazip does not have open candy unless you get it from some fake site.

If its the peazip I put on when fixing chic's computer ITS COMPLETELY CLEAN Guarantee 100% when it left here. If some infections have gotten in with Open candy then it will have been from some other program. Peazip is used because it doesn't bug the hell out of a person to upgrade, its better than the inbuilt its FREE and CLEAN ( unlike some others).

Used Peazip for years and the only time you get any sort of "extra's" is when obtaining from the non legit site eg sometimes download.com etc.

Nod32 and all the antimalware programs wont find anything relating to peazip because there's nothing to find.:p

Where chic wrote
When I go to unzip something it turns up but doesn't work. Something has been installed after it left here, I know it worked as I tested it.

Helps if all the story and facts are told eh ;)

1416105 2016-02-17 01:55:00 Opps sorry cic, out of habit thought your name had an H in it for some silly reason.

ACTUALLY just thought, since the Comp it W10, some of the MS updates break programs, Peazip is one so it needs to be updated to the latest.

1416106 2016-02-17 01:58:00 With CCleaner I was able to delete it, though it still appears to be there when I go to search windows.

Thanks lads.

I am sure it would work for you Wai, but I couldn't get it to work, for all that, it took some shifting.
I am used to WinRAR, so I took the easy option.

1416107 2016-02-17 02:06:00 If the latest build of Peazip was not used opencandy could have been added
