I have a flickering cursor in Word only, nowhere else. It is so bad that I have to shut the program down as I cannot do anything in there. If I do persist everything takes so much longer than before I developed this problem. Any clues would be appreciated. |

Often that's printer related as strange as it may seem.
A simple way to test that is go into the control panel / Devices and printers - make something else the default printer and save, open word if it stops flickering uninstall your printer, download the latest drivers and reinstall it, reset the new install to default, may solve the problem. |

Hi there wainuitech. Thanks for your reply. Uninstalled my printer. Went into Word and it was fine. Reloaded the printer and made sure the drivers are up to date but still have the problem, although for some reason it doesn't seem quite so bad. I think the next thing is to now reboot this computer to see if that makes any difference! |
