1415434 2016-02-04 07:21:00 I have an old 5.1 system lying around that was given to me years ago, but it doesn't have the cable to connect to a device, I've found a photo of the cable I need, I just want to know where I'd fine one?

1415435 2016-02-04 08:36:00 eBay might be a good start if you really want the correct part.
Failing that, are you any good with a soldering iron.

On a serious note, most electronic hobbyist stores have these, usually free end (just wires on the other end) but they probably have the required connections for the other end that you need.

Maybe try Jaycar or RS.

1415437 2016-02-04 18:03:00 Can't you just use the RCA connections instead? or are they outputs? dugimodo (138)
1415438 2016-02-04 18:36:00 Could try Jaycar for parts to make your own cable Lawrence (2987)
1415439 2016-02-04 22:10:00 Chances are its a non standard wiring scheme, so you'll need to either make one or get the exact part for that exact brand & model.
And unless you are 100% sure that wiring diagram is correct for your unit ....... :)

It looks like a less common variant of the din plug/socket, so even jaycar may not have suitable parts

1415440 2016-02-04 22:29:00 Jaycar list only up to 8 pin mini din. Plenty on Ebay, plugs and cables, also NZ Radio Spares site. Terry Porritt (14)
1415441 2016-02-05 04:38:00 RS definitely has this, and its a standard 9 pin din connection, as for the completed connectors, not sure, usually its a DIY job.

Cheers,

KK

It shouldn't be too hard to get 3 headphone jacks and connect them?
