Some authors like to combine genres to an extent. Like the Pern books, set on a distant planet in the future colonised via space travel and the local animals made useful by genetic engineering, but all that in the distant past of a world that's basically reverted to medieval technology with people flying around on teleporting fire-breathing dragons.... It's like a fantasy story with a science fiction history as the set up. |

Anyhow, I read the book in question, I read a few books a week sometimes, It was light weight fluff, with some mumbo jumbo magic thrown in and a slice of gung-ho nonsense. Purely to see what kink the wife and half the female population was reading about(seems that info could come in handy) Turned out to be no kink at all, just moronic piffle.....dumb **** written by a dummy for the consumption of dummies. How hard would it have been to include a space battle or two? Or at least a teleporting unicorn? |
