1410092 2015-10-27 18:45:00 And while the denialists play on, we continue to poison the planet killing rare plants and animals joining the extinction list. Tragic and not in the slightest bit funny.

I would say climate change is a small worry considering the impact we have on other species.
We cut down the forests and jungles, we plant specific crops thus losing diversity in them and others, we kill the animals for sport, for fun, because they encroach on farms (really the farms encroach on them, but that's how it is interpreted).

We pave over the grass, we build carparks.
And we breed.
Like flies.

Of course everyone sees this as someone elses problem, 3rd world mainly, they don't see an issue if they can house and feed their offspring.

Never mind their sheer existence compounds the population, not just adds to it.

Don't start me on what has happened to the oceans as well.

We spray our gardens, our weeds, we pay no attention to things like the bee crisis.......it won't be temperature that kills off humans, it will be the accumulated combination of factors, and a huge part of that will be the loss of other species.

Right on there, pctek. Although I would also think global warming/climate change is a big problem. See you on the Climate March on November the 28th/29th.

1410098 2015-10-28 21:53:00 There certainly can be no doubt that the Internet is crammed full of propaganda and argument about Climate Change and with a selection of data from which you can choose whatever you want.

Maybe we should all get a degree HERE (http://www.buyrealdegree.com/), call ourselves Eminent, and then make some outrageous statement to the Media who will run with it regardless of its accuracy.

Another thing I don’t understand is where all these so called Climate Scientists have come from. There seems to be more of them than Storekeepers and Taxi Drivers.

+1 I think we will have to wait for another hundred years to see just who is right.
