| 559372 | 2007-06-15 01:57:00 | When creating a new email in Outlook 2000 and typing the recipient's name in the "To" field, how do I get it to automatically bring up names already in my contact book? e.g. with Outlook Express, when I started to type "Jo" in the 'To" field, it would bring up "Jo Bloggs" and I simply had to click on that. But my Outlook 2000 does not do this, even for frequently used contacts. So I have to click on the "To" field, then type the name in the contacts box - and even then it only gets me part way through the list. I have searched through all of the options in the tool bar, plus tried using the Help menu, but to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

On the Preferences tab, click E-mail Options, and then click Advanced E-mail Options . Tick/clear the Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields check box . |

It makes no difference to my problem whether this box is ticked, or not. Any other suggestions? |
