559119 2007-06-14 20:11:00 Heyas;
I'm wanting a batch file that will open a txt file on Windows 9x startup.
Although I do know some DOS, programming in DOS was never a strong point.
I know it can be done, and I did do it once ages ago but have since forgotten how.
Also, how can the user stop the txt file from opening (on startup without deleting said txt file - these instructions will be part of the txt file)

Thanx in advance

559120 2007-06-14 22:34:00 can't you just place the txt file in the startup folder? and not bother with batch file?
and if you want to remove it just remove the shortcut in the startup folder and that would leave the txt file alone too
