| 558763 | 2007-06-13 08:46:00 | :badpc: My friend has a problem she can not send emails to anyone else but herself she cam create an email and send it to her friends and it does not get there. if she creates an email to herself it comes back to her. she has created another email account on orcon and the same problem still exists she can send emails to others using orcon's webmail service Thanks in advance Bryan |

| 558765 | 2007-06-13 08:55:00 | Does she get any sort of non delivery message when she sends to her friends. Is she by any chance connecting to an ISP other than Orcon If she is, Orcon will not allow her to send through their outgoing mail server but may allow delivery of messages to Orcon addresses. She may need to change the Outgoing SMTP mail server to that of the ISP she is connected with. |

What happens if she just replies to an email rather than create and send a new one? So currently her POP and SMTP are set both to Slingshots server details? The email addess that shows in her "from" address is her Slingshot address or the Orcon one? |

SLingshot forget orcon I said orcon instead of slingshot by mistake . when she contacted Slingshot they said her outlook express was the problem and to use Slingshots webmail she wants to fix the express problem if possible |

| 558770 | 2007-06-13 10:41:00 | Hi Jen she is using outlook express ver 6 sp2 she has XP SP2 with all updates She was not running a firewall untill I turned it on on Monday night and also AVG had the email scanner disabled and I could not enable it. I ununstalled and reinstalled AVG and her Email scanning was working. On talking to her just now her AVG email scanning option has gone completelly. |
