The program is still looking for a CD and gives a error message (disc in drive is not a cd or is full) Please insert a blank, writable cd..... Any help would be welcome. Mick :waughh: |

| 559683 | 2007-06-16 01:17:00 | If youre trying to burn to DVD with XP's built in burning, XP doesnt natively support burning to DVD. You'll have to use another program. Try it with a CD. If you've been using a blank DVD. |

| 559684 | 2007-06-16 06:21:00 | hi mike, Suggest you go to the website of the shop you bought it from-e.g. Dick Smith- look up firmware for your model of DVD drive. If the store you bought it from doesn't have a website, go to the manufacturer of you DVD drive. Same deal-look up firmware for your model number. The firmware download will be free. Once you have the firmware & depending on how long you have had the DVD drive, go the the manufacturers website-e.g. Nero- [if you haven't already for the firmware] & look for any updates for your software. Updates for software should be accessible through the interface for your DVD drives software. All this is inclusive of the cost of your DVD drive. Hope that's helpful. | felix56 (12425) | ||
