2007-06-17 05:40:00 | I am running Vista and Word 2002. ( can't see any advantage worth spending extra money for later versions) How do I get a word document sent to Thunderbird not Outlook (or Express). Barry

2007-06-17 09:47:00 | Thanks but no success. I have gone into Control Panel>Default programs>Set Default Programs but nothing changes. Am I missing something? Barry

2007-06-17 11:14:00 | Try from in thunderbird: (ver 2.0) Tools/options/general Should see 'check if Tbird is default' & select it. Shut & reopen & it should be default from then on.

2007-06-17 20:51:00 | I tried that but have a problem. When I open T'bird I get the message about making it default programme. I tick it, and also not to be reminded each time. The I follow your suggestion about making T'bird default programme. Each time I exit and re enter, the box ( mail) is unticked again. I have rebooted twice. Any ideas Barry

I wished it had worked for me/us but well obviously it didnt and the support forums etc were not much help so its in the 'too hard' basket for now. |

2007-06-18 05:29:00 | It could be that the Thunderbird is not 100% compatible with Window Vista. If you look up the Thunderbird website, you will see that Win XP is recommended O/S. | stingray (12122) | |
