| 560931 | 2007-06-20 08:40:00 | Hi, what software is available for controlling the usage of various computers on a home network as we have an overseas student staying at our house and wants to pay for internet usage and want to know how to limit his computer (about 10 GB) to the amount of internet usage he pays me for per month without limiting me. |

| 560935 | 2007-06-20 10:05:00 | There are a number of utilities available (some are free) for monitoring internet usage - they keep track of time and many will do a running calculation of your bill. I think most are probably designed to track an actual online connection rather than individual users on that connection, but some may do what you are looking for. I would suggest searching on various combinations of eg internet connection, monitor, usage, calculate etc. HTH |
