History has shown that already with other mainstream engines. The reason the next one will come along is more likely going to be related to commercial ad placement aspects than search ability. |

It's not just newbies who "know nothing else" . :blush: :blush: Whilst I have been on the internet for almost ten years now and know there are other search engines, Google is the only one I ever use . A bit poor really, considering that Opera makes it extremely easy to use alternatives . I must get out of that bad habit . :rolleyes: |

My missus is basically a research and information specialist (with a Masters degree in the subject) and she reckons that Altavista does better in some areas than Google. |
