| 560872 | 2007-06-20 07:08:00 | Depends what date it is. There are many dates in word but none with a hot blonde. Anyway the trick Scouse suggests works when creating a document. Generally the saved document will update the DATE when you open the document. If it is not doing this and its changing only when you print then you should change it by.. 1) highlight the date field (it should be selected..) 2) Type over the field the date you want. You can use <SHIFT>+<F9> to see what the field is. If its printdate then well maybe it should not be changed? |

| 560873 | 2007-06-20 07:14:00 | Oh i forgot... <CTRL>+<SHIFT>+<F9> This will convert the field into its value... so no need to type over it, just highlight it and press the above key combination... I knew I should have had a beer first! |

| 560874 | 2007-06-22 05:06:00 | Thanks but is there anyway that you can look or print a saved document and automatically have the date (say correspondence) that it was created on. If you are doing a follow up on a letter and you attach the original letter you want the date on the original to be when the original letter was written. | garymang (798) | ||
