| 561771 | 2007-06-23 01:18:00 | Hey guys - bought a Vista Home Basic upgrade from a company in Auckland for $100- same as DS has at $259- booklet said I could use "custom" install -I wanted to keep XP going as well -- created a new partition of 25G - (K drive) -- had problems getting Vista in (would only install with no Product Key no) --I can see Vista but I cannot work in it or activate it- now I'm happy to reinstall as an update-- but my K drive has 9.6 g of Vista in there now & I cannot re-format that drive --Bill won't let me--Will a reinstall replace my XP from the F drive & leave me with two Vistas or will it just tidy up the install in the K drive whilst deleting the XP --- |

| 561775 | 2007-06-23 21:18:00 | Snoopy -it appears that MS have closed the loop hole -- it failed -twice- kjaada-- it was exactly the same upgrade package as DS -the genuine software-- The dealer I got it thru has put the price up again to $168-- was a good deal at $100-------- |
