2007-06-27 03:02:00 | The above tips actually work really well. I've been using them for about 6 months now and you can see a difference in speeds. | beeswax34 (63) | |
2007-06-27 03:17:00 | I just tried them again today and I am noticing the difference already. I used them some time ago. | winmacguy (3367) | |
2007-06-27 13:51:00 | I recommend you download this (TCP Optimizer) www.speedguide.net then click on "optimal settings" then "apply changes" then OK then reboot. Your connection should be sweet but test here best place I have found for true measurement) www.bandwidthplace.com I find after reinstalling programs, etc I lose speed, this corrects everything, infact I use monthly to ensure I am getting the best speed.

2007-06-28 23:12:00 | Thanks for the Firefox tips. We use that sometimes but Opera is our main browser. Can thes e be adapted for Opera. All internet is slow, browsing and downloading | wooda2 (4837) | |
2007-06-29 07:05:00 | was the speed drop immediate? perhaps your upgrade co-incided with something stuffing up you bb connection. 67 sounds like you've been capped, what speeds were you getting prior? does your router/modem give you a connection speed or are you using an online speedtest or network monitor? (i understand this is an internal modem) www.nzdsl.co.nz www.metal-machine.de
