| 563918 | 2007-06-28 05:26:00 | I feel like a CHUMP asking this question but I have to stop my Antivirus AVG and Windows Defender before installing an accountancy Program. I am now in my lower 80's but that should not be an excuse...I have a temporary mind block......Help.:o I have thought of removing from the control panel but surely there is a better tempory way. |

| 563919 | 2007-06-28 05:28:00 | To stop AVG, go into the AVG control panel and stop the "resident shield". simply closing AVG will not turn the detection off, only the graphic side of it wil go away, it will still be running in the background ;) not sure about windows defender, there will probably be an option to kill it somewhere in there... | wratterus (105) | ||
