| 563490 | 2007-06-28 05:24:00 | I sincerely hope it is a coincidence but ; I just went to check my email on Ihug and got a popup. Password refused and then a request for a new password. Done nothing in the mean time. You guessed it, they screwed up again (www.ihug.co.nz) Not only did the email servers go down, so did the DNS servers (www.ihug.co.nz) which look like theyve been fixed. Altho it looks like the email is fixed now too. |

| 563494 | 2007-06-28 11:28:00 | My favourite tool for this kind of thing is: http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ It has a tool called "Offline NT Password & Registry Editor" embedded in amongst all the other useful bits. Off course anybody using a tool like this must use it for legal ethical reasons! |

| 563496 | 2007-06-28 23:12:00 | Interesting thread - attracting a lot of viewers - so we're now in the business of teaching others to crack passwords - possibly on stolen laptops..... Anyone can look it up anywhere.. there is info on this all over the net... I don't understand why anyone would come here asking...the forum rules are obvious. And in this case, if the preson asking was legit he would have replied by now... |

| 563497 | 2007-06-28 23:30:00 | Anyone can look it up anywhere . . there is info on this all over the net . . . I don't understand why anyone would come here asking . . . the forum rules are obvious . And in this case, if the preson asking was legit he would have replied by now . . . or . . . the person has read the forums, downloaded one of the said tools or tutorials; and is now happily using there laptop again . Yes, I know I am new to these forums, but this is the INTERNET . All sorts of people pick up these forums and post . Just becuase they post on the forums does not mean they have to abide by some unknown forum rule of posting a response to there original request . Yes we all know it's just polite, but you are not going to win them all . Oh my, they didnt reply: GUILTY . This is the internet, its as anonomous as things get . This is 2007, move along now . |
