Actually you mean Windows XP won't.



And its nothing to do with Windows or anything. ITs the motherboard. Its probably ancient.
You could try a BIOS update but if it only sees 8gb, then its way too old for a drive of that size and you probably still won't get the full amount.

And its a imposed limitation anyway . I have a 100GB FAT32 partition on my XP system .

There is your answer unless you use overlay software, and that would have to be obtained from the drive makers site.

But using ME? That is dangerous in itself :badpc:
