562869 2007-06-26 02:26:00 ive already tried that man, even when i open the shortcut that error msg comes up. Seems to me that the only way i can do it is thru "Run."
This cant be normal man, someone come over to my place and suss it out for me. I live in Tokoroa lol

Try running winsock fix (www.snapfiles.com) and lsp fix (www.snapfiles.com) through.

Ah I dont think those will help, theyre used if u cant get on the net etc.

Not if u cant access a folder/s on a network / LAN.

Yeah, they probably won't work, but i'd give winsock fix a go, incase the tcp/ip side of the PC is stuffed. I've see PCs that can get on the net fine but not onto any networks. It can't hurt.
