| 564453 | 2007-06-29 12:59:00 | hi all. I've been looking around for the best possible drivers for my HP notebook graphics card. It's an Nvidia GO 7600 512mb. When I go to dwnld them from the official Nvidia site they say I should get them from the HP site. I did get some from there but afterwards I did notice a drop in fps with the games I play at the moment, Red Orchestra and Company of Heroes. I rolled back to my old drivers and am about to check if it's running better now. Anyways I was wondering if anyone has any idea where to get the best possible drivers from for my specific card. I have been searching online at various forums and am only getting more and more confused. I'm not sure if I need to stick with the official HP drivers or not... thanks for your help all! |

And I've read of numerous problems with our latest 94.24 drivers, and even some of the slightly older drivers having problems. My drivers a a year old and I don't get any of the problems people talk about in the later drivers, I think you may be better off sticking with the ones you have if there are no problems. |

| 564457 | 2007-06-30 06:57:00 | hey mantis, what version drivers do you have? I think I will stick with my current drivers for now. If I have the patience I might try a few others... It's just that I'm finally on two months holidays and plan on filling it up with two years worth of missed pc gaming and I wanted to squeeze every last ounce of fps out of my system... haha :P | bizzack (7739) | ||
| 564458 | 2007-07-01 07:20:00 | hehe, it gives my driver version as 9.1.3.1 in device manager, so I'm assuming that they are the Forceware 91.31 drivers, dates 6/1/2006. I haven't compared it to any other drivers, but I thought that seeing as they didn't give me any problems I might as well stick with them. |
