| 564633 | 2007-07-03 05:32:00 | Apple doesn't directly force software upgrades, the reason for 7.3 is so that US customers could register their new iPhones. You may have noticed that 7.3 came out late Friday NZ time which was just prior to the iPhone being sold in the US. Apple is more likely to force old hardware into redundancy or end of line stuff to make way for the new model. |
