564621 2007-06-30 09:20:00 Well thats true and since its 11mb bigger, than the last one, I wont be in a hurry to get it on dialup.

If I had something decent for syncing with the Ipod, I wouldnt be using Itunes.

I would say you would be slightly out of luck there Speedy:D

564622 2007-06-30 11:06:00 Something for Speedy convertion, only MP3,had to redo the lot. One problem I am having is when loading player it throws the wifi connection, thought it was the "syncing software but it was not the problem as I tried through my music folder and still the same (G604T/Wireless" target="_blank">www.binaryfortress.com/ Syncing software for non ipods using itunes, just be sure when loading CD's you don't use "ACC" convertion, only MP3,had to redo the lot. 564623 2007-06-30 13:25:00 MP3's / videos wouldnt be a prob with Ipods. I Would use Winamp.

Since it support Ipods natively or with a separate plugin. Which lets u format an Ipod as well.

I sync contacts and calendar entries from Outlook often. Thats the kind of SW I'm after. I've tried a few. One made more errors than anything else.

And did separate entries for each contact.

Whereas, Itunes puts all contacts into one ICS file, I think it is. Thanx for the link Lawrence.

I haven't tried it myself, but does it not let you do it yourself? (I guess in theory that that would be making it harder not easier though)

Itunes u mean?? No.

Since it would need Outlook, for the contacts, and the entries you've put in the calendar, so its got something to sync with.

Outlook I think can export ICS (calendar files), and most probably contacts but separately. I just cbf going thru like 30-40 contacts, and saving them separately lol. And trying to figure out which one (export option) actually works.

564626 2007-07-01 02:04:00 Well here I am on vista ultimate with every known itunes bug... well all in the past now.

I foolishly installed 7.3.0.54 last nite when prompted and well

IT WORKS!!!

Now that must mean that Apple is supporting the move to vista by writing iTunes and certifying it on Vista eh?

See yet another reason to upgrade to Vista people!!!

Well, yeah according to the doc in Itunes 7.2 was vista compatible.

Your version may run but does it bring up the same error thats in this thread?

Funny thing is the only reason for needing iTunes 7.3 is for the iPhone otherwise 7.2.2 should be fine. I didn't have any problems when I installed 7.3 as soon as I heard about it.
