565137 2007-07-02 21:08:00 I am looking for a way of transmitting Audio files on a regular basis (Weekly) to a single address. Currently this is done by mail and a cost is obviously incurred (a CD and case plus mailing). Both myself and the recipient have plenty of bandwidth to accomodate electronic transmission which is about 140mb and we have found that it will not go as an attachment.
I have been advised that peer to peer is the way to go but do not know enough about it to make an informed decision.

How secure is it, I understand that connection is made direct from PC-PC, although another source tells me you can download to a secure site and upload from there.

The audio involved is a pre recorded music program for a community radio station which I record and send of on a weekly basis.

There's IRC, which people use to send whatever to each other.

565140 2007-07-02 23:33:00 sounds like you need an FTP app on your PC to upload large files to their server. winmacguy (3367)
