| 564858 | 2007-07-01 15:41:00 | Hi, I am able to link to pages with in my website but when i want to link some thing to another website, like when i type in say http://www.google.com and upload it to my host and click on the link it either takes me back to my home page or doesn't find it at all. Could someone please tell me what i am missing so that i can link to other websites. |

Double check it if you like in Code View check that the linked text looks like this: <a href="www.websiteurl.com">www.websiteurl.com< [Edit] If the links are on the site referred to in your sig, then they seem fine to me, unless you can point to a certain page where you're having the problem? |

| 564860 | 2007-07-02 00:17:00 | I did exactly what you said and it is what i have been doing to try and link to another website. an example page of my problem is at craftykea.0moola.com where i have put in the link box so that the 'paypal' picture links to the paypal website, but when clicked on it takes you back to by home page for some reason. is it because of the free histing service I'm using. | spaceman8815 (4112) | ||

If you check your code, it will show you the error. Unless it is a budget or free host, the host won't make a difference, unless it is windows hosting over linux hosting, as windows isn't case sensitive. |
