| 565353 | 2007-07-03 08:36:00 | Just noticed today when I try to download emails from my xtra with OE, the download speeds are total rubbish The emails get there _eventually_ but as everything else can download at usual speeds for my connection... I am thinking xtra may have a problem with email at the moment Occasionally it will throw the "Your POP3 server has not responded for more than 60 seconds" error, when this happens - the download is guaranteed to fail (even if I click wait 90 million times) Anyone else having similar problems?? |

| 565355 | 2007-07-04 07:14:00 | Xtra email has been real bad for 3x days. After a few complaints they have admitted that a fair few others are experiencing the same with most complaints coming from those on the 'go large' plan. I can access webmail and get emails sent via yahoo but my outlook times out constantly after it strikes a larger email attachment (ie above 300kb) .I got 13 emails this afternoon with a total of 3.39mg and outlook predicted 23 minutes to download before it timed out. My Broadband is OK...so it was interesting receiving (to prove a point) Xtra streaming video news while the help desk staff explanation was it was school holidays and / or the problem was my end. |

| 565357 | 2007-07-04 23:52:00 | I called Xtra just now, they said that go large is designed that email and http get high priority, so that shouldn't affect it. (maybe they slow down email that isn't their own, though?) They also said that I shouldn't be having any email problems, but that if anything else becomes slow I should call them again Either way, I'm lost... |

| 565358 | 2007-07-05 01:28:00 | I just had a client call me because their xtra email wasnt downloading. They've been trying since yesterday afternoon. So I login to their account via webmail and find one email waiting with a 2mb attachment.. Seems a 2mb attachment is all too much for xtra email at the mo.. (and they're on XTRA BROADBAND ) |
