| 566013 | 2007-07-05 05:54:00 | Went to buy a wireless mouse and got confused by the range. Any advice...eg which ones go throught the batteries the most..difference between "laser" and "optical" etc. Want it for laptop and just general use ie not gaming. Many thanks |

| 566016 | 2007-07-05 06:41:00 | If it's for a laptop... I got the logitech vx450 laser as I already had an MX1000 laser for my desktop and the prescision of a laser is better than plain optical. Apart from taking standard AA batts (rechargeable if you want) that last 'up to a year', the mouse has a neat little USB receiver that plugs into the laptop and when not being used you can unplug it and 'dock' it inside the mouse for carrying. So far it's great  The only thing I miss is a fast forward and back on the scroll wheel. |

| 566019 | 2007-07-06 00:57:00 | What do you guys think about using laptop mice with a desk top ? Also make sure you have a good play with the mouse befroe you buy it. I bought a Logitech Wireless Laser Mouse and while it works it has a lot of extra buttons which I don't want or use, and it is a little uncomfortable in my hand as it has a couple of hard edges. Also its wheel is not very nice to scroll as it has a sort of knurnled effect. Aside from that I like using it, the freedom of having no cord dragging on your wrist is marvelous. I did not try mine out (in a gaming shop) I just read the specs and thought it would be good. It was in a plastic box so I could not try it or even feel it. Regards Digby |
