565899 2007-07-05 01:50:00 Recently changed graphics card from GeForce 6600 to 7950, expanded RAM from 1Gb to 2Gb and replaced power supply to drive all this clobber. Today tried to play a DVD movie on the beast (which used to work with old innards). Now it says "WMP cannot play DVD - try lowering display settings" (which made no difference). Any ideas why it cannot play the DVD? Regional settings? or other? slofox (5767)
565900 2007-07-05 01:54:00 Use something better than WMP. Speedy Gonzales (78)
565901 2007-07-05 05:19:00 Probably something to do with the video driver, if you haven't changed any other software

You've got the latest driver for your new card, right?

565904 2007-07-05 05:36:00 You could try this (http://www.videolan.org/)

I think most of the users here use it.

I use this (http://www.dvd-x-player.com/) but it isnt free.

Or if Powerdvd came with your DVD/burner, install that.
