| 565815 | 2007-07-04 12:40:00 | Hey there, All of a sudden when I try to email anyone I get an error like this: "The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was '[edit]@anikey.nl'. Subject 'oldies', Account: 'mail.fishfingerdesign.com', Server: 'smtp.fishfingerdesign.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '501 This system is not configured to relay mail from <[edit]@fishfingerdesign.com> to <[edit]@anikey.nl> for 89.240.96.254', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 501, Error Number: 0x800CCC79" Any ideas why anyone? It happens on all emails all of a sudden... |

| 565818 | 2007-07-05 01:21:00 | Many ISP's will not let you send mail via your own smtp. I've had major issues with some of the big ISP's over this. Most of them will require you to send outgoing mail via their servers. For example smtp.[yourisp].co.nz Incoming should work fine from your mail.fishfingerdesign.com but outgoing should be set to your ISP's smtp setting. |
