2007-07-04 01:07:00 | Hey all, Recently I had a problem with sending mail in Thunderbird but have just sorted that out - turned out my user name had to be entered in twice:illogical Anyway, I'm not able to click on web links in emails and get them to automatically open a window or tab in Firefox? Also if I click on the help menu for 'Mozilla Thunderbird Help' it fails to open any new window either. I've been through the options setup but found nought relevant. Must be a simple fix though. Please let me know what needs doing. Cheers, -John.

2007-07-04 02:06:00 | I find it hard to believe that it isn't possible for Thunderbird to open a link in Firefox simply by clicking on it:illogical It's pretty useful to be able to do when you are subscribed to a thread in a forum etc... | Johnnz (7246) | |
2007-07-04 02:08:00 | I think it is pretty standard in most email programs that you don't click on the url in the email but copy paste it into your web browser. | winmacguy (3367) | |

It is normal for FF to open a link clicked in TB.There is also a cure which needs a bit of tweaking in TB.Someone will come along with the solution.I find it hard to believe the previous posts. |

2007-07-04 09:00:00 | I find it hard to believe the previous posts. So do I. It appears to me that the default is that the URLs are "clickable" and there are no settings to set. Works fine for me in ver. 1.5.0.12
