| 565482 | 2007-07-05 07:14:00 | I've been looking for ages but to no avail. Left handed "scupted" mouses just don't seem to exist. Why shouldn't 2 meeces work together on a desktop - the USB mouse and mousepad thingy on the notebook do and it can be really handy. |

| 565483 | 2007-07-13 08:17:00 | Hi johcar Sorry to hear about your accident, rotten luck (or rather, rotten car driver). I've been on the hunt for ages for an ergonomic left handed mouse for a couple of users at work. They are so difficult to find! At the moment they use those flat generic mice but they're not very nice to use. The Logitech MX610 that you mentioned is the only one I've found, through expansys.co.nz. Seems a bit poor for those lefties out there... Cheers Susan |

| 565485 | 2007-07-14 00:31:00 | Cheers Greg - still in a bit of pain, but there's drugs for that! The gory details: an idiot did a U-turn in front of me on my regular Wednesday night ride, in spite of me being lit up like a Xmas Tree with red and white flashing lights . I was travelling at about 20 - 30 km/h and t-boned the car - driver's door - smashing his driver's door window with my shoulder (broke 5 ribs, shoulder-blade, acromium and collar bone) . Driver obviously decided it was a minor accident, so he drove off . Cops got him 5 or 6km up the road, and he apparently told them he was on his way to report the incident (cue the Tui ad by-line here) . The next few days are a bit of a blur - went into surgery on the Sunday afternoon and came out 6 hours later with a pile of screws and a couple of plates in my shoulder (collar bone and acromium) . Out of hospital on the 5th July - at the moment sleeping at night on the couch in the lounge, semi-propped up . Can't lie flat yet . Bruises starting to go those really "attractive" colours now too . . . Bike is a write-off with a cracked frame in at least two places (covered by insurance luckily), bent forks, bent front wheel . Helmet is knackered (did its job well) and have lost about $800 worth of specialist cycle clothing - which insurance partially covers - which was cut off me in the ER . |
